Those who have been involved with Celebrate Aberdeen in the last two years will know that noise and music play an integral part in the day’s celebrations. Alongside the third sector organisations, we have had a number of entertainers march down Union Street to help create the party atmosphere that the parade is renowned for. From Pipe Bands, to street drummers, to local dance groups and singers, the entertainers are dispersed throughout the parade to allow the length of Union Street to be encapsulated in a sea of song and dance. Celebrate Aberdeen

Plans are well underway for the third Celebrate Aberdeen Parade, taking place down Union Street at 11 am on Saturday 8th June 2013.

Our Aims:

To unite Aberdeen’s third sector in a bright and energetic celebratory parade
To highlight the diversity of the third sector - organisations of all sizes
To allow thousands of third sector participants to be involved completely free of charge
To provide an opportunity to thank the third sector for their invaluable contribution
