CNOOC International came on board as a Celebrate Aberdeen sponsor last year and have been fantastically supportive with everything we've done ever since! It's true to say that without them, our events simply could not happen. You guys rock!
Our links with Northsound began in 2010 when our Celebrate Aberdeen Parade was nothing but an idea. They took a chance on the event back then and have stayed with us ever since. We are so grateful for their support and thankful of everything they do for us. Whether they're talking up our events on air, helping with our social media campaigns, or providing presenters for each occasion - they always step up and help. Thanks to the whole team!
CNR International was the first business locally to support Celebrate Aberdeen. It only took one conversation for them to totally get what it was we were trying to achieve. Not only have they supported the August weekend as a main sponsor but they have also linked up with numerous parading third sector organisations and have provided them with support long after the parade was over. We’re very grateful to them for having the belief in what we are trying to achieve and for getting behind us from the outset.
Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre
Our team of volunteers has been speaking about a Celebrate Aberdeen Awards event pretty much since the first parade took place, so nigh on seven years. When we decided that we’d actually bite the bullet and just go for it, we spoke with the team at the AECC to see if they’d be interesting in accommodating us. From the minute we mentioned it to them they have been wonderfully helpful and supportive. We’re also delighted that they’ve come on board as a gold sponsor. Thanks folks!
Aberdeen City Council
We first linked up with Aberdeen City Council in 2014 to help deliver the performance side of our August weekend and have worked in partnership with them ever since. The events team in particular provides us with a great deal of support, both in terms of sharing knowledge and providing on the ground assistance, year-on-year. So we’re really delighted that they are continuing to build upon their relationship with us beyond the weekend and that they’ve come on board as a gold sponsor for the awards this year.
