So we are no longer speaking about how many months there are left until our Celebrate Aberdeen 2018 August weekend. We're not even speaking about weeks. We're now counting down the days!
You might think that things calm down by this stage in the process, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
All our volunteers are still incredibly busy making sure that everything is in place for what must surely be Aberdeen's biggest FREE community event.
We're still working on volunteer rotas, parade packs are going out to those lovely groups who nipped in at the last minute to take part in our HUGE third sector parade, and we're putting the final touches to the list of equipment requirements for our performers.
We've looked out our outdoor beanbags, the collecting buckets are stacked and soon to be picked up and our flag is ready to be handed over to this year's flag bearer.
Our volunteers in charge of PR and social media are gearing up for an incredibly busy period, and our parade stewards are drawing up their final plans.
We've even ordered our volunteer lunches from the fantastic ladies at Upperkrust - a sure sign that the weekend is almost upon us.
So what's left to do? What we need now is for everyone to keep their fingers crossed that the weather is good to us. And if it isn't? Then we'll all just carry on and celebrate Aberdeen just as we would if the sun was shining.
