During Volunteers’ Week we’re taking the time to shine a light on the volunteers who power the third sector across Aberdeen and the North-east.

Today we turn our attention to the volunteers behind Aberdeen FC Community Trust.

Aberdeen FC Community Trust was formed in 2014 as the official partner charity of Aberdeen Football Club, “To provide support and opportunity to change lives for the better.”

The Aberdeen based charity outline their vision as "Working to be a participative identifiable organisation working effectively with others, to primarily improve health and well being, education, equality and to enhance social cohesion. AFCCT will constantly strive to impact positively on communities and individuals to improve and enhance life choices."
